Tarantino Hires His Second Bastard?

Following yesterdays news that Eli Roth had been cast comes news that B.J. Novak of the US "The Office," is in talks to play Private Utivich in Quentin Tarantino's World War II flick "Inglorious Bastards."

Novak is best known for his role as former temp Ryan. Novak also has written several episodes of the show and served as co-executive producer. Scheduling is less likely to be a problem for Novak than it might be for other television actors; he has had a less regular role on "The Office" since his character was promoted in the fourth season to run the Dunder Mifflin corporate office in New York. Casting is being finalised on the Weinstein Co.-Universal "Bastards," which is expected to shoot in the fall in Europe and wrap in time for a potential Cannes debut in May. Brad Pitt is in talks to play the leader of the band of fighters.
